Free Online Courses : The American University in Cairo is offering the Enhancing Free Online Courses Participation in State and Society (ESSE) fellowship for Egyptian Master’s students in International and Comparative Law or International Human Rights Law. Applicants must demonstrate an intellectual or professional interest in exploring the relationship between law and social and economic change as well as a strong willingness to conduct legal research at the graduate level.

Actively participate in the academic life of the Law Department and LSRU Schools
Commitment to stay in their jobs in Egypt for at least three years after completing studies or returning tuition fees covered by the fellowship.
Respond to any requests for reports received from the university within the specified time. This may include a request for photos or information about a student’s academic Free Online Courses progress to be used for reporting purposes or attending Fellowship’s events and activities including any meetings or events with donors at the request of relevant university entities.
Mandatory one-time training must only be completed as a teaching assistant if the person is involved in auxiliary teaching duties.
